About

Conceived and performed by electronic music composer Richard Evans, Sentinel is a multi-sensory journey through the present and future effects of global warming, creating a layered perspective on the planet’s most urgent issue.

Analogue synths and drum machines mix with live vocals, data art, laser lighting & video for this captivating show inspired by themes of climate change and forced migration.

The soundtrack is accompanied by Valentina D'efilippo's stunning visuals created directly from climate and migrant data, with live vocals performed by Charlotte Dalton.

Notes

Evans' previous musical credits include James and indie chart-topping new wave act St Vitus Dancers.

Developed with support from Arts Council England and Manchester Science Festival.

Sentinel’s production is supported by Arts Council England, Manchester Science Festival, the University of Salford and Waterside.
